This video project is based on personal dreams collected and transformed during a periode of 2 years. It has been part of Final show at UAL Camberwell College of Arts.
The video is to explore as fragmentation of many stories, it is not a narrative, but a universe/space of emotion and tension. It is like in dreams; a mix of random elements.

The voice replacement sequences are meant to touch the expectation of the viewer and play with gender, age and time. An old man having a young girls voice underlines the idea; that in dreams; you can be young or old, boy or girl, man or women – the dreamer plays all the roles.

The duration of a dream go very fast, but the experience of a dream last longer. By repeating words and sentences, I expand the scene/the message, and it became absurd and surreal – it feels like it takes out the meaning of the words and let the viewer focus on the rhythm, the environment and the tension.

All the actors and people behind the voices are all from my close family, You sense a cohesion that reinforces the idea that they all could be the same person.

You are not allowed to dance with a scissors, it is a clear sentence from a dream.
